Is Pain or Soreness Restricting Your Active Lifestyle? F.I.T. Can Help!

Running

With longer summer days, there’s more time to be active. Whether you’re swimming, running, biking, or paddle boarding, you’ll want to make sure that your body is up to the task. Sometimes, active people experience pain, soreness or stiffness in the soft tissues of their body, keeping them from participating in the activities they love. At Next Level Wellness, we’ve developed a therapeutic treatment that can increase soft tissue mobility and ease pain. Fascial Integrative Treatment, or F.I.T., is specifically designed to treat problems in the soft tissues of the body.

Over time, scar tissue adhesions can accumulate in your muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves. This kind of build up can occur from any type of strain you put on your body; anything from slouching to leaning to one side while carrying a backpack. These movements are magnified by gravity’s pull, and fascia thickens and tightens in order to offer more support. Unfortunately, due to the fascia’s stickiness, this seemingly helpful action causes the formation of adhesions which can lead to pain.

By using F.I.T., our chiropractors will be able to break up these restrictive adhesions, re-instate normal tissue flexibility, and restore balance and stability to the injured area. We’ll also be able to assess and correct problems in any other area of the kinetic chain, which are often contributing factors to the problem.  All of the areas of soft tissue that have become dysfunctional and are contributing to the specific injury are addressed, even if they have not yet developed pain.

F.I.T. is only available at Next Level Wellness. Our doctors have been specially trained in this pioneering treatment, and have helped dozens of patients regain freedom of movement and let go of pain and discomfort.
