Meet the Doctors

Dr. Vasili Gatsinaris, D.C.
Dr. Vasili Gatsinaris (or “Dr. Vas” as his patients warmly call him) is a renowned sports therapist and chiropractor. He has treated numerous high-performance individuals, including professional athletes from all major sports leagues including the MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLS, as well as celebrities, collegiate athletes, and weekend warriors.
In 2001, Dr. Vas opened Next Level Wellness Center to develop and administer the latest, state-of-the-art treatment methods to all of his valued patients.Dr. Vas graduated from U.C.Irvine with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. In 2001, Dr. Gatsinaris attended Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in Whittier, Calif., and graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. He has been a credentialed Active Release Techniques (A.R.T.) provider from 2002 to 2014, a certified Fenzian practioner for the past five years, Titleist Performance Institute medical provider, and currently an FDM full-body practioner since 2013.
A lifelong learner, Dr. Vas continues to develop his understanding of the latest health technologies and techniques via ongoing postgraduate studies.

Dr. James Kim, D.C.
Dr. James Kim is a board certified chiropractor with a subspecialty in sports medicine and therapeutic rehabilitation. As a certified Active Release Techniques (A.R.T.) provider, Dr. Kim specializes in treating musculoskeletal injuries–back pain, shoulder problems, neck pain, knee injuries and carpal tunnel syndrome, among other conditions.
Dr. Kim has an inclusive sports medicine background, having worked with the medical team and athletic training staff of the Los Angeles Dodgers for several seasons. He participated in prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries for team players before, during, and after all home games at Dodger Stadium. In addition, he contributes to the NCAA Division-1 intercollegiate sports medicine staff at UC Irvine.

Dr. Camille Plumbar, D.C.
Dr. Camille is a board-certified chiropractor with an emphasis in sports medicine and functional medicine. She specializes in treating musculoskeletal injuries, scoliosis, and sports and dance related injuries, among other conditions.
Dr. Camille has an inclusive sports medicine background, with her experience as a high school and collegiate athlete and dancer. Dr. Camille completed her chiropractic study at Southern California University of Health Sciences, graduating with honors. She received her bachelors degree from the University of New Mexico graduating Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Biology and Portuguese and an emphasis in Pre-Medical Studies.
Dr. Camille utilizes various techniques such as active release technique and traditional manual diversified adjustments as well as flexion-distraction, drop table, activator, and sports taping.
Dr. Camille has experience providing pre-participation physicals for athletes as well as care for veterans, police officers, and firefighters in the Southern California community.
Dr. Camille is also a nationally certified massage therapist with certifications in myofascial release, cupping, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, and acupressure technique.

Dr. Taryn Huibsch PT, DPT
Dr. Taryn Huibsch is a board certified physical therapist specializing in sports medicine and therapeutic rehabilitation.
She focuses on treating musculoskeletal injuries–back pain, shoulder problems, neck pain, knee injuries, and carpal tunnel syndrome- while utilizing skills from the Titleist Performance Institute, FMT, ELDOA, and SOMA Training. Dr. Huibsch has participated in prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries for athletes of all levels- adolescent to professional including NCAA, NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL.
Dr. Huibsch completed her Physical Therapy study at Chapman University. She received her bachelor’s degree from the California State University, Fullerton, while being a member of the Women’s Gymnastics Team.

Caprice Leonard, MA, ATC
Caprice is the Director of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation at Next Level Wellness Center.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesioloy, with an emphasis in Exercise Science and Fitness from San Francisco State University. She went on to earn her master’s degree in Sports Medicine / Athletic Training from San Jose State University.
Caprice has been a NATABOC Certified Athletic Trainer for over 15 years and has vast experience working with professional, Olympic, college, and high school athletes, as well as weekend warriors and corporate America. She is a native of Huntington Beach.
