Resolving Real Health Issues By Avoiding Fake Compounds

Avoiding Injuries

Our bodies are constantly exposed to new compounds – from chemicals in household cleaning products to additives in food. More often than not, these compounds negatively impact our health and can limit our ability to lead a fulfilling lifestyle.

One of the newest compounds found is called xenoestrogen. It mimics the effects of natural hormones within the body and can alter the way your body functions if you’re exposed to it. When someone comes into contact with xenoestrogen, it disrupts their natural estrogen function.

Estrogen is a natural hormone in humans that is important for bone growth, blood clotting and reproduction in both men and women. Our body regulates the amount of estrogen we need through intricate biochemical pathways. When xenoestrogens enter the body, they increase the total amount of estrogen resulting in an unhealthy imbalance. Since Xenoestrogens are not biodegradable, they’re stored in our fat cells, which can then hinder our fat burning process. This type of build-up has been shown to lead to breast, prostate and testicular cancer, obesity, infertility, endometriosis, early onset puberty, miscarriages, and diabetes.

This particular compound is commonly found in modern items such as household products, birth control pills, commercially produced fruits and veggies, beauty product, and dairy/meat products. The best thing you can do for your body and overall health is to avoid products that contain this substance or any kind of synthetic compound. Whether you’re buying a plastic water bottle or shampoo, be sure to check the bottle and label for these top four substances: xenoestrogen, phthalates (commonly found in soy products – adversely affects hormones), BPA, or PCBs.

Although you may not always be able to stay away from harmful compounds all the time, you can take small steps towards minimizing your exposure. Even if you can’t tell a difference at the moment, you most certainly will be able to down the line. Your body will be healthier, stronger, and able to support you throughout your daily activities.
