Chiropractic Care and Sports Therapy for Athletes and Fitness Enthusiasts

In addition to offering the best in chiropractic care, our two chiropractors, Dr. Vasili Gatsinaris and Dr. James Kim are experienced and specially trained in sports medicine and sports therapy for high performing professional athletes and everyday fitness enthusiasts.

Each chiropractor blends his knowledge of chiropractic treatment and sports medicine to provide our patients with sports injuries in Costa Mesa, Irvine, and Newport Beach the best possible treatment and rehabilitation. Our chiropractic office also provides high quality massage therapy, physical therapy, and physiotherapy for athletes, families, individuals, and children to relieve pain, reduce stress and tension, and heal injuries.

Chiropractor Dr. Vasili Gatsinaris, or Dr. Vas, opened up Next Level Wellness Center in Irvine in 2001 to bring expert chiropractic care to patients in the local areas of Costa Mesa and Newport Beach. Dr. Vas has extensive experience in sports therapy and physiotherapy having provided chiropractic treatment and rehabilitation to professional athletes, collegiate athletes and patients with high-performance athletic goals.

Dr. James Kim is the other chiropractor on staff.  Dr. Kim has sports medicine experience, as he worked with the medical and athletic training staff of the L.A. Dodgers and collegiate athletes of U.C. Irvine. Both of our chiropractors on staff bring a wealth of knowledge and experience about sports medicine and sports injuries to our chiropractic practice and provide top of the line sports therapy.

Professional and Recreational Athletes Receive Rehabilitative Sports Therapy, Massage, and Physical Therapy

We treat patients suffering from arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, dizziness, vertigo, muscular pain, back pain, stress, tendonitis, insomnia, and auto accident and work injuries with chiropractic adjustments and massage therapy. Our chiropractors also specialize in treating and preventing sports injuries for high performance athletes and recreational athletes alike.

Sports injuries can include muscle strains, sprains, joint pain, neck pain, tendonitis, shin splints, herniated discs in the back, and torn ligaments. Chiropractic and sports therapy is used to reduce pain and to heal injuries and may involve spinal manipulations, electric muscle stimulation, heat and ice therapy, corrective exercises and massage.

For patients that have suffered a sports injury, our chiropractor will prescribe corrective exercises or “blueprint” exercises to help rehabilitate the injury and prevent recurring or possible injuries in the future. In addition to rehabilitation and corrective exercises, our chiropractors are trained to counsel patients on diet, nutrition, and lifestyle choices to help patients achieve maximum athletic performance levels.

Recreational and Professional athletes in Costa Mesa, Irvine, Newport Beach and surrounding communities are encouraged to contact our office to set up a consultation with one of our chiropractors. Call us today at 949-205-7510.
